A bachelor’s degree in nutritional sciences or dietetics may provide a decent science background (including biology, chemistry, biochem, organic chem — though each program may have different requirements) and teach the benefits of how food can help heal the body, but one would still need to take the pre-med courses (prerequisites) as well as the MCAT (medical school admissions test) and have a fantastic gpa since competition is keen in gaining acceptance into medical school.

I would look at the classes required for that major…most schools have a pre-med major which prepares you for medical school. I would check out the required classes for that major and for medical school…
