could I get into Boston University or NYU with a 3.4 GPA?

im a junior and I just want to know, you know? So if I get a really good grade on my sat’s like 2000 and above? Have lots of volunteer hours and joined a few clubs? They’re my dream schools, so please be honest, so I can know where I stand…

seriously, if you rock on the SATs, college interviews, and everything else, i think you stand a decent chance. 3.4 is a little below what they’d like, but if you rock in everything else, they’d definitely consider you.

i have great links for you.

look at the bottom; it gives you the breakdown of gpas and stuff.

luck!

No I don’t think the GPA will do. But if you have all these activities and everything, that is a huge plus so maybe!

Go here for info on BU: http://www.bu.edu/admissions/apply/class.html

And this for NYU:

Looking at the profiles of the class of 2011 should give you an idea of what they want.

it’s possible but not likely

aim high on SATS and take challenging courses that you enjoy/can do well in so as to raise your GPA. also try to find direction/leadership opportunities in your extracurriculars. good luck.

Hell yes. Get the book “complete book of colleges” by the PRINCTEN REVIEW – it lists all the schools in america and their recent admissions requirements.
