When is it time to quit college?
I’ve seen people who were sophomores when i came in. And when I got out after my 6 year plan, they were still there. I came back 2 years later to take a class of interest, I still see the same person there.

I am actually in a similar situation as your’s, and have seen this type of thing. I have those thoughts also, but honestly, as long as they are still getting something out of it I guess they should continue. As long as it isn’t someone just wasting Daddy’s money Van Wilder style, I guess it’s ok.

Some people make a ‘career’ out of going to school and just continue in their education simply because they really have no idea what they want to do! Or…as is sometimes the case…they either want to pursue their master’s and doctorite degrees right after earning their bachelors….or they failed their courses from partying too much and took WAY too long to get their degrees in the first place! I see that a lot too…

You shouldn’t necassarily “quit” college. It depends on what your major is, of course. Also, a good time would be when you think you have learned enough information to have the career you want.

It’s time to quit when your DONE, GRADUATED, COMPLETED! In other words, YOU DON’T QUIT! If these people want to continue to go to school at their own pace, fine. IT’s their money. There’s no rush to complete school when you’re young anyway. Since I want to go to medical school, I know I’ll be in school for a long time. That’s fine with me.

people quit college after they graduate..or when they run out of money..according to your story i guess the reason they’re still there is because they have to extend their studies..and that is either because they have to repeat their papers (meaning they failed their finals etc) or they stopped to work and continue..
