You won’t be able to party all the time, that’s for sure. I handle classes and a part-time job. My social life includes my boyfriend and a few very close friends. My friends and I go out for coffee every few weeks and my closest friend and I have a movie and dinner night once a week. It helps keep up sane from work/school. It’s important to make time away from school and work, but if you want to do school and a job, make sure you stick to a schedule and include some free time in that schedule. You won’t always be the life of the party if you put school and work into the picture, but you can still have some fun.

Depends on: the number of classes that you’re taking (plus the difficulty level of the class according to your skill), the number of hours you’re working (your work location also have some effect – if you work on campus, that would be a plus for your campus social life) & your definition of social life.

If you’re taking the min. requirement for full-time student (you’re not taking additional classes other than required to maintain your status as a full time student), work 20 hours or less… you should be able to get a solid social life (not the ‘party like there’s no tomorrow’ type of social life, though. Just a weekend party here & there, hang out with your friends @ work or school, go surfing/hiking/shopping, etc…

Join a college club of some sorts to help you network – that always help, too

Yep you can it will be hard I mean your classes come first then the job, then any time left over will be time for your social life. I know people who have done it. I did for a little while but did not have to work so I quit and just spent more time on school. You should have time for all three, but the social life will not be as good as it is in high school but it will be much more fun!! 🙂
