What profession is this?
The people on the shows like Colbert, The Daily Show, Leno, Conan, and Mencia who always mess with photos and make funny videos. What’s their job title and what would their major be? I know it’s computer-based, but can anymore clarify it for me?

Graphic artists can make good money, in excess of US$50,000 a year if they are talented and work for a major publication. Part of graphic design these days is learning to use programs like Photoshop to edit photographs. Sometimes this is a legitimate way to make a photo look better, sometimes it’s more like trick photography.

What every it is; it’s the biggest most ridiculous thing that they do. If they get a stupid laugh from the audience; they think people really like it. They keep doing it over and over again. Those late night shows have such little substance that I don’t see how they stay on the air. No, I don’t really watch them. I only see them when I wake up and the TV is still on.

The software to make images funny (or better say to modify images)would be Adobe Photoshop (illustrator)…but for the title I’m not sure if there’s any academic education specifically outlined for such career…however, a film editor would be able to handle this position.
It’s not a bad idea to call an educational inst. (i.e. a college or university and find out more)
