BE AWARE THERE ARE NO ACCREDITED SCHOOLS OF SOCIAL WORK ONLINE.

Most of these schools are degree mills and will sell you anything. However, you degree will be virtually worthless in terms of opening doors to jobs. Only degrees from Council on Social Work (CSWE) accredited BSW programs are useful in terms of acceptance by state agencies, getting into grad school and related elements.

BS has more science and math classes. BA has more arts and language classes. BUT, there are so many tricks to this. I’m going for a BA in education and realized that at my school, it has the same amount of math/science classes as the BS does. The only difference for my school is that the BA actually takes more classes! It’s not really fair but whatever. For most programs, there isn’t a whole lot of difference between a BA and BS. If you get a BA, you might not have to take calulus. If you get a BS, forget about Spanish II and III. It all depends on what you feel more comfortable with. Good luck with the social work! ^^ Don’t give up.
