What is a good minor for a Social Science major?

I’ve read that you should get a degree that compliments your major, but I have also read that you should get a degree that’s different from your major so that you’re more well rounded.

Any opinions, and opinions on a minor for a ss major?

You should minor in something that’s more practical, like Economics or Marketing. But on the other hand, there’s a big chance that you won’t get a job in the field of your degree, so none of it matters, just as long as you have a degree.

I majored in International Politics, minored in Economics and I work in museums as a fundraiser.

The answer is both. It is an excellent question.

You might have enough electives to become more proficient in your major and at the same time a more rounded individual. They are both great goals.
