What examples do you find of images of freedom and repression in this paragraph?
There stood, facing the open window, a comfortable, roomy armchair. Into this she sank, pressed down by a physical exhaustion that haunted her body and seemed to reach into her soul.

I’m not sure I would use either of those words. She was free, positionally, and in her ability to choose the chair when she had been standing…but was obviously not free of “a physical exhaustion that haunted her body and seemed to reach into her soul.”
Is that really repression Rea? She was affected by exhaustion, yes, but not necessarily repressed. She just needed a rest!!!
