A little bit of every thing. The most important thing is to get a good foundation. Take math every year, as well as science and good stuff like that, but don’t waste your time with the stupid classes. Try to be in leadership and different clubs like that. Don’t waste your time with honors, try for AP later on though. Don’t worry too much though, you’ve still got a while. Like I said though, try to cover as much different things as you can for now, higher education like a well rounded person. As you decide (later junior year) more specifically what you wan tot do then you can focus more specifically on target classes. You got a while kid, try not to worry too much.

I hate to say it but sports.. a lot of colleges look at sports for extra curricular activities. You could also look into things like the debate team that usually look nice on an application. As far as classes just take the normal, and excel if you can. Try to get into Calculus etc. Its the things you do with your time outside of class that they look at. Try some community service, work experience etc.

definetely Honors and AP classes, also take a lot of extra curricular activities. Colleges want to know that you’ll be joining their clubs and activites.
