Im in high school.. i want to go to college PART 2 :-)?

lol sorry but i needed more room.. so here is the rest of my questions..

7 – I REALLLLLY have to get a scholarship for college since my parents and I cant afford it, especially since i want to become a plastic surgeon. What do i need to make sure i do, to get a full paid scholarship? Is that even possible??

8 – If i can NOT get a full paid scholarship, what can i do then? i mean i REALLY want to become a plastic surgeon and that has been my dream and my hobby and interest. If i cant get a FULL paid scholarship, what the heck can happen lol. What are other options, after taking into consideration that i can not afford college. *i do have a US passport and i am a citizen* so how would financial aid or a loan work?

PLEASE HELP ME OUT! i am so concerned! i want to make a successful career and i must do good this year so i really need to know what path to go!

THANKS IN ADVANCE TO ALL!

If money is tight and a loan is probably not in the cards for medical school you should get a bachelors degree in a life science (biology, bio-chemistry, etc) but take all of the classes that the medical schools require to gain admission into their programs. I would say minor in economics or some business area so you will be able to get a job after you finish 4 years for the undergraduate degree.

Get a job after you have your bachelors and rent a cheap apartment while you save your money. Don’t buy a new car or even think of buying a house. Do that for 2-3 years and you will have at least $70K in cash to fund your education. If the job market is tight where you live you can always become a teacher.

When you have the money and can go back to school go for it. You can take out a loan for part of the money at that time. If you happend to get married by then I would say quit your job and concentrate on your studies. Your spouse will need to support you for this time.
