2.5 or higher for a csu…the lower ur gpa the higher ur sat scores have to be….

UC- atleast a 3.0 …but i wouldnt recommend you trying to apply to berkeleley or ucla with anything lower than a 3.5

you need to have completed the A-g requirements in order to get into a csu or a uc…

Im sure ur school has a list of those courses they vary for different schools..

Community service—

although colleges like a well rounded student…they dont really look at this …but its nice to have something to write about…if they require an essay prior entrance….

As for SATs the Csus uses combimed scores from ur reading and math while a UC looks at all three..reading writing and math….making ur sat scores for a uc ,uc higher….if u need more info just ask..

hope this helps…good luck!

For Cal States

GPA requirement is 2.0, but the lower your gpa or closer it is to 2.0 the higher your Sat score has to be. You’re basically accepted at any lower end cal state like cal state northridge, or san bernandino, or pomona, or san francisco if you have at least a 3.0 and just take the sats, and get what ever score.

My friend who attends Chico got in and she had probably a 600-800 sat score out of 1600(old sats) with a 2.8. It’s all based on a table

for the classes you need to get into cal states check the requirements

http://csumentor.com/planning/high_school/subjects.asp in general cal states don’t need honors or ap classes unless you’re trying to get into the tougher cal states such as san diego or san luis obispo, but even with a 2.8 i’ll doubt they’ll accept you unless you get a really high sat score, because those 2 cal states are the toughest cal states to get into, even tougher than some of the low/easy UC’s such as Riverside or Merced.

For UC’s you need the community servie hours. It’s a must. The gpa minimum requirement for UC’s is 2.8 so you just made it.
