How do you know what courses can be transfered?
I’m taking some classes at community college, and i planning on transfer to USC, but i don’t what classes can be transfered to USC…I know what classes cal state and UC can transfer over, but how do you what classes can be transfer to USC?

Most likely the credits for the classes will be transferred over but not necessarily the courses themselves. This means that some requirements you thought you got out of the way at your old school you may have to retake, for example, a natural science or writing course.
Also, some universities don’t accept courses from community colleges so if your transferring from a community college, chances are you’ll have to start from the beginning.
Look on your new college’s admissions and/or registrar’s website for exact answers.

you would have to contact someone at USC, like the registrar’s office or something, to make sure. there is no definite saying what they will accept and not until you either ask, or send the transcript.

I think you should just talk to the counselor at the college you want your classes to be transfered to and they’ll help you out.
