Let me compliment you on your choices! Both are excellent schools for this. The most successful person I know of in IT graduated from UCSD, but Stony Brook has a great reputation as well. I think it comes down to personal fit – basically an East Coast/West Coast thing.

In terms of CS course, SUNY Stony Brooks is better than UDel. I think you should choose SUNYSB.
