Please help me! What does “pro rata” mean in a salary specification?
If an ad states that a job salary is £13,659 – £16,183 p.a. pro rata, how should I earn in a year? Thanks

you earn in proposition of hours/ days worked. if you work full hours its full salary but if you work lesser than normal hours, you will get accordingly

Pro rata means the per annum rate divided by the hours worked (usually 37.5 per week for full salary)
