Online Degree?
1 more year for a Bachelor of Human Resources and Labor Relations, or
1 more year for a Bachelor of Management, or
2 more years for a Bachelor of Commerce
What do you think? Anyone else have an opinion on Athabasca, remember its fully accreditated, not a degree mill.
Favorite Answer
Athabasca may be accredited — but it is not selective. You don’t even have to have a High School diploma to enroll. Therefore, employers will not know if its graduates are good or if they are idiots who could not get a degree elsewhere. On-line degrees are not respected by employers.
Most on-line schools are For Profit corporations that charge more for tuition than reputable state universities.
Be smart — go to a real university.
There are many brick and mortar schools that also offer online programs that are fully accredited and may be viable for you as well as an online only school.
In addition to the school’s regional accreditation, check into the professional discipline accreditations for those schools at well. Many of the professional organizations in each discipline can also tell you whether a specific school’s degrees are considered acceptable.
