I need to present an evidence-based nursing project on bleeding protocols in anti-coagulated patients. While I’ve researched facts, scales used to measure patients risks for bleeds, and interventions, I feel like I’m not getting a good handle on the project and am not doing what’s expected (at least the evidence-based part). As part of the project, my group created own own bleeding protocol based on the facts and interventions we collected, which I think is great. However, I think we need something more along the lines of assessments and outcomes. I was thinking of finding literature to measure other bleeding protocols and their outcomes on patients at risk, but I can’t seem to find anything. Help!
