My university doesn’t offer a Social Work degree, will a Bachelors of Sociology work?
Is a sociology degree going to do me any good if I want to be a social worker? I attend school in Missouri and plan to move to California to begin working with my degree after graduation.

Yes it can, job listings for Social Work usually say BSW or Psychology or Sociology.

Check the requirements where you plan to get your MSW. But generally, almost any BA or BS makes you eligible for almost any MA or MS program.
And make use of your academic and career counselors.
