making friends in college?
is it hard to make friends at a large state school when you come from a different state? ( for ex. a northeast student going to a midwest state school)

I don’t think it will make a differnce if you are from another state. Most people would never even notice. Making friends in college is easy. If you are living in the dorms, your roomates are like built in friends. In classes you will probably have group work and meet a ton of people. Join some clubs or extracurriculars, work out in the gym, sit by random people in the dinning halls, say hi, attend parties, etc. and you will be sure to make friends very fastly!

It all depends on the individual person. If you’re outgoing, friendly, and trying to make friends you’ll make them easily. If you shy away from people and sit in your dorm all day you’ll have a hard time making friends.
