Letter of request worded correctly?

Can you proofread and edit the letter below. Does it make sense? Have I used words and grammar correctly? Thank you in advance!

Dear Katie,

Please accept this Letter of Request for permission to keep a pet. I have a small to medium sized dog that I rescued from the shelter A few days ago. She is a senior dog with no behavioral problems such as chewing, biting, or barking habits, whatsoever. She is perfectly housetrained and does not bark. Her activity level is minimal due to arthritis and decreasing vision. Truth be told, I will not have her long.

I will immediately tend to any waste removal and/or set up a patch of grass in the courtyard at my expense. She is an indoor dog that would only be let out before or after office hours, on a leash at all times. I will pay an extra non-refundable deposit to keep her. I hope for your favorable response!

Sincerely,

RE: Request Permission to Keep my Pet

Dear Ms. (last name):

Please grant my request to allow my small pet dog (name) to live in my apartment with me. She is an elderly dog, who stays indoors, is housetrained, well behaved, and does not bark. Her activity level is minimal due to arthritis and decreasing vision. Truth be told, I will not have her long.

I am a responsible pet owner and will only let her outside before or after office hours, on a leash at all times. When I walk her, I will clean up after her, and/or set up a patch of grass in the courtyard at my expense. I am willing to pay an extra non-refundable deposit to keep her. She is like family to me.

I hope and pray that you grant this request.

Sincerely,

Dear (Ms. Last Name) – the letter seems too formal for a first name

This letter requests permission to keep a pet. I have a small dog that I rescued from the shelter A few days ago. (Dog name) is a senior dog with no behavioral problems . She is house trained and does not bark. Her activity level is minimal due to arthritis and decreasing vision. Due to her advanced age I will not have her long.

I will immediately tend to any waste removal and/or set up a patch of grass in the courtyard at my expense. She is an indoor dog that would only be let out before or after office hours, and will on a leash at all times. I will pay an extra non-refundable deposit to keep her.

I appreciate your consideration, and hope for your favorable response.

Sincerely,

Note: I think your letter is very good – but I made a few edits. I think you should address the person as Ms. (Last Name) since the letter seems a bit formal. I also think you should include your dog’s name to make her more real to the reader. I trimmed the copy a bit as well.

Otherwise an excellent letter. (I would let you keep her.) 🙂 It sounds like you love her a lot!

that’s going to be related as a be conscious record. actual no count if that’s plausible, i’d have one rfile with the canopy letter first and then my resume following on the subsequent website(s). that’s advisable to call the rfile so that’s obtrusive that the two are blanketed.
