All fields of engineering must take core courses in intro/intermediate statics, dynamics, circuit theory, and thermodynamics. This is probably more of the EIT exam, which is the first start in becoming a professional engineer.

Afterwards, you take courses in your field. This is a board answer I know, but your question is boards. Fields like mechanical and chemical engineering are vast areas. Technically, nuclear and aerospace engineering subfields of mechanical engineering.

Actually, if you want an interesting engineering try mechanical, electrical, or nuclear engineering is my suggestion. I really don’t think you can go wrong with any field of engineering, since they have their own interesting problems to deal with.

Just do a internet search, they are a lot of resources that can provide details on occupations.

Engineers tend to have a foul stereotype. not all engineers are nerdy and not sociable. in any case, engineering is, properly, each and every thing. it is the utility of math and technological know-how and technologies to help improve the worldwide we are residing in, no remember if increasing the form of luxuries available to us, or looking a thank you to feed extra human beings extra effectively. Engineering is this manner of extensive container which could cope with making limbs for people who lost their very own for the period of a conflict or cope with the gap deliver that is going off to take extra pictures of the photograph voltaic device. Engineers are able to look at a undertaking and create something which will resolve that undertaking mutually as optimistically taking into consideration the ends up of their strikes.

engineering is a branch of science

the word engineer is term applied to a person in the late 20’s who is mostly capable of understanding machineries & engines, hence the word engineering is derived from the word “engine”

type of engineering commonly available in colleges are:

civil or structural

chemical

mechanical

industrial

electrical

electronics & communication

computer

geological or geodetic

metalurgical

aeronautical

marine

no matter what you choose, the basics are the same

in the later part of your study is when you will differentiate one from the other

the question is; what branch or study of science do you like??
