is their any discrimination betveen north indians and south indians in medical colleges of chennai?
i have cleared aipmt and am hoping to get stanely medical college in the 2nd counselling. i am from chhattisgarh and here people sugest not to go to chennai for mbbs studies

Stanley medical college,Chennai is a top rung Govt.college. If you get admission there you must be lucky. There is no N/S discrimination in any cosmopolitan city in India. Apparently you have not moved out of your hometown in MP? May be you may face a initial difficulty in communicating with local Tamil people. There are a good number of all India students in SMC. Wish you good luck.
