graduating early?
my son wants to graduate from high school one semester early. no one has done that in our family so i was wondering if anyone has, what are the advantages of doing that? he’s applying to colleges now. what should he do during his semester off to help his college applications? research? volunteer work? any ideas? he’s interested in going to vet school one day. thanks!

I had a lot of friends that graduated early and some enjoyed the decison while some regretted it. The most logical choice would be to have ur son complete some of his gen eds at a local community college so he can be ahead of the group when he starts school. I would try to shy away from not doing anything during his time off..it tends to make people forget whatever they learned and result in trouble during college.
