First, I would like to commend you for completing high school with such a respectable grade point average. You seemed to be very involved in extracurricular activities which is also a very important factor in college admission. Unfortunately, I cant give you a strong answer on your possibilities of acceptance. You did not list SAT I scores, SAT II scores, AP examination scores. Those are all very important factors of admission. Everyone that applies to Duke, Wake Forest, Princeton, and John Hopkins will be standouts at their particular high schools. UNC is a state university, so, without looking at your SAT scores, if you are an instate resident with those stats and mediocre SAT scores, you would be in. Eastern Carolina is obviously your safety school, and I would anticipate admission there as well!! Good luck with the admissions process!! Post more information on a separate question sheet and I can give you more information on your chances.

in the beginning, and no offense, artwork on your writing. errors like mixing “their” and “there” will make whoever is analyzing your essays think of which you’re no longer incredibly intelligent, inspite of ways genuine that truly is. Your weighted GPA is great, notwithstanding, regrettably faculties see the unweighted GPA as extra substantial. in case you do properly on the SAT’s it is going to assist you to exponentially. all your extracurricular will help besides, faculties love that kind of stuff. Taking all of those stepped forward instructions, despite in case you made some B’s in them, would coach faculties which you artwork tricky, that would help. As for particular faculties, it relies upon on what field you’re making plans on stepping into. What are you questioning of majoring? no remember if that’s engineering (which i’m majoring in), i’d propose the college of Texas or the Colorado college of Mines (which i’m enrolled in). the two a sort of faculties are out of the undemanding in words on engineering. If, notwithstanding, you’re making plans on majoring in english or historic previous, you will would desire to look someplace else, as I regrettably do no longer comprehend. good success, Nick

There’s no such thing as an unweighted 4.5 GPA. 4.0 is the highest you can have – that’s an A and an A+.

How did you get a 4.5, I thought 4.0 (what I have) was the highest.
