what major should i be aiming for in college? (a pediatrician is a children’s doctor)

Pre-med: lots of life sciences like biology, anatomy, etc.

Well, you don’t have to aim at a specific major in college. It’s nice to study a science, because your pre-med requirements are usually fulfilled. However, there is no set major for medicine, you can study English and still go to Med school. The only things that are necessary are the chemistry, biology, physics, MCAT, High-GPA, to get into med school. Enclosed is the website for UCSF school of medicine, which the requirements are identical to those of Stanford, UCLA and even Harvard.
