It depends on what school you go to! Some schools will give you enough time to be able to work weekends and such for the 1st two years, but your 3rd and 4th year, its totally impossible to work at all! Your last two year of med school you have to spend something like 100 hours a week at the hospital, so as you can see you’d never be able to work. I know this because I work at Yale, and Yale University student have told me how it works!

Yes, but not advised. You’ll have your weekends to yourself. But when it comes down to it, med school takes a 100% commitment.
