Would Little Women be considered classical? Or maybe David Copperfield? I read both of those when I was younger than you.

Not sure exactly what you mean by “classical” as in– does it need to be a particular era?

If not, I strongly suggest “To Kill a Mockingbird.” A brilliant, classic book. Not bad for your age, more straightforward, and worst case scenario, when you’re done reading get the movie out at the rental store to help you sort out the bits yo u don’t get (REALLY important NOT to do that before you finish though, or the ending is ruined).

Before you read Pride and Prejudice, watch the movie. It will help you better understand the book. You could try Jane Eyre. Check this sparknotes page before you read it:

OR: check out this website for other suggestions (Lord of the Flies, Huck Finn, Frankenstein):

1984 or Animal Farm by potential of George Orwell are superb books. perhaps somewhat by potential of J.R.R.Tolkien it is Lord of the rings or The Hobbit, the incomplete memories perhaps? or The Similarion. The coastline by potential of Alex Garland is likewise an exceedingly reliable e book. Flatland – A Romance of Many Dimensions by potential of Edwim A. Abbott is extremely a obscure novel. additionally The nicely on the international’s end by potential of William Morris … The checklist is going on. I consistently believed that all and sundry British writers have a facet of insanity that different non British writers have not got,

To Kill a Mockingbird

1960

by Harper Lee

Small town Alabama in the 1930s is the setting for this fine novel of a child’s brutal introdution to racial prejudice and adult injustice.

Tom Sawyer or Huck Finn would be appropriate. Another one that I enjoyed at your age was Of Mice and Men. The Great Gatsby might also be enjoyable for you, but I didn’t care for it. There are many deent books…just take a look at your local library!
