what can you do with a pre law degree? Does it require more education to become a lawyer?

What are the responsibilities of a paralegal? What is a basic job description?

Look here for the definition/responsibilities of a paralegal: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paralegal

Most people don’t work as a paralegal forever, because there’s really no upward mobility. Oftentimes people will graduate from college, work as a paralegal for a bit, and then go to law school. You cannot be a lawyer without a law degree.

pre law and paralegal are two different things. Prelaw prepares you for law school. It gives you the basics. Can you work for a law firm doing research probably but you would not be considered a paralegal. It takes a degree or certificate in most states.

depending on your State Board requirements, you could be a paralegal… you’ll be doing the research for the lawyer, and probably tyoing up their arguments ect.
