in college business communication i am the v.p of development. i don’t know what that means?
we have a “business” and i am the v.p. of development. i don’t know what the job consists of. does any one have any information? my class mates tell me i am in charge of fundraising and charity benefits. what else would a v.p. of development do?

Not sure if this is one of your regular classes or something extra.
I’m going with regular class. You would develop ideas or programs so that other people can better there communication skills. People need to know how to communicate in order to distribute assigned tasks to those you are in charge of.
You will have to know who is best qualified to do different assigned jobs. That why you need those communication skills.
You’re the one who will develop programs and then communicate your ideas and or programs (lets say) to your boss.
