Unfortunately, when I was an undergraduate student, I went to bed much later (usually 1 or 2 am). However, as I got older and started to care more about classes and grades, I began to appreciate the value of a good night’s rest. Now i am a graduate student working two jobs and I am usually pretty tired by about 11:30. Listen to your body and sleep when you need it!

Well Most of the students going to college sleep around mid night except a few who sleep at 10. Also there will be few of them who sleep quite late that is around 2 or 3 in the night

I’m attending Arizona State University and i go to sleep most of the time at around 10:30 – 11:00, but i’m always falling asleep in the classroom

i’ve noticed that most of the other students dont go to sleep until 2 -3 am

midnight is too late if you want to be well rested, but it’s too early compared to other students

ASU! ASU! ASU!

I go to LaSalle University but I am in my senior year of high school so I have to be at my high school by 8 and I leave at 10:30.I dont have any classes at Lasalle till 2 so I use the free time I have to nap or get so work done.I usually dont get to sleep till maybe 1 or 2 in the morning and have to wake up by 6:30.So I dont think there is anything such as too early or late it just depends on whether or not you can maintain body functions on such little sleep.I stayed up all night once and still went to class on no sleep but when it gets boring like when the professor talks your ears off,you will most likely fall asleep

Yeah I pretty much had the same mindset as Lex listed above. I had to work full time while going full time to school. Sleep was for afterwards. You can actually get by with 6 hours of sleep each night, just as long as you occassionally have a day off to sleep in. I’m still going to school right now (wrapping up another major) while in my current career, and I usually goto sleep at midnight and wake up at 06:00 the next morning.

Maybe not, if you’re working hard. As we speak (in my own time zone) it’s 12:09 am here at my place. I’m doin some research. Me and my friend have experienced times when we hardly get any sleep at all.. Maybe just an hour of sleep (at that time I didnt want to go to sleep but the people in the room wanted lights out already).

If it’s worth it, dont sleep. “You snooze, you lose” is what I heard on an advertisement of a certain show. But if you cant take it, follow your body. Good health is important, too..

The question is … does it work for you???? Listen to your body!!! Some people need to sleep more than others. You will sleep very little during finals and a little more the rest of the time. Don’t worry, you will find your balance!! At what time do you get up???

When I was in University I worked full time and attended class full time. Sleep is something you can do after you get the degree.

This is different for everyone. It depends on your schedule, energy level, and biorhythms. If you wake in the morning feeling refreshed, and you have time to get your work done, then it’s fine.
