I dont know what to do with the rest of my life!?
Im a senior in highschool and the end of the year feels like its rushing up on me…I dont know what to do with the rest of my life after highschool is over!I dont know where I want to live where i will go to school what job i should get and ect….HELP what should I do!

I would consider taking some college courses (at least part time), so that you can learn more about what interests you most. Don’t worry, you have plenty of time to decide and you can always change your path mid-stream if you make a wrong choice. Good luck!

You should probably try talking to a guidence councellor at your school to see what options there are for you next year. They can help you look at what you enjoy doing and help you find a program for a career at a college or university that you would enjoy. So calm down because your not alone in this, there are so many other people who feel like you do right now. And good luck!

Just breathe. A lot of people are in the same position as you. Even those of us in our 20s and 30s still don’t know what we want to be when we grow up. If you want to go to college, then just take your basics at first. Take a class here and there in a subject that interests you. Speak with career counselors, they are usually free at school.

Aimlessness is often cured by exploring a wide variety of places to live and types of jobs.
Come up with a short term plan (two years) that pushes you to try new jobs and maybe move around a bit.
It also helps to talk to those you respect (like a mentor) what they think. It worked for me.

I think this is something you have to figure out for yourself. I wouldn’t overly stress yourself. Finding out who you are and what goals you want to pursue in life can be exciting. I would brainstorm and jot down things that you like and dislike. Figure out what really interests you and take it from there. You don’t have to decide right away.
