Has anyone used an online university….particularly Kaplan?

Did you attend college on campus as well? Which route were you more successful with? What about the online universities did you find appealing? When you got your degree, were you successful in finding work?

Anything else you want to add would be great….I’m considering getting a 2nd bachelors online, but want to hear some opinions first.

I am currently a student at Kaplan University and I love it. I was solely a distant learner but that’s only because I don’t live near a campus. I chose Kaplan because of it reputation, cost, and accreditation. I haven’t graduated yet but I have placed Kaplan on my resume and listed that I am still attending. With that I have had 3 job interviews in the past 3 weeks and I am currently weighing my options. So I recommend Kaplan to any one with a busy life style that has the desire to continue their education. Good Luck!!

I haven’t attended an online college. But I would HIGHLY recommend that you check the accreditation of the university. Otherwise, your degree is likely to be considered inferior and probably won’t count towards getting an advanced degree from reputable a brick-and-mortar campus. (i.e. Harvard is not going to have much respect for a University of Phoenix degree). In the Southeast, a college should be accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (or SACS). Sorry I haven’t attended one, but I just want to make sure you don’t waste your money.

I continuously use faces πŸ˜€ i like employing universal looking ones πŸ™‚ Like them πŸ˜› i exploit ^_^ if some thing makes me smile fairly massive too.. and different ones like that if i actually do it with my face whilst analyzing or in spite of.. haha i do in contrast to those little pictures of faces once you do them in IM or on some thing you realize, they frequently look fairly creepy or strange haha Wow, i like suggested “like” like, way too plenty then.. :S
