I am about to graduate w/a bachleors in Spanish. What to do now?
My college doesn’t offer career advising/placement, so I’m off to fend for a career on my own. I want to enter translation/interpretation, what should I do now?

Try and find companies looking for people with a knowledge in Spanish. If a company is international, chances are someone is looking for a translator or interpreter, whose going to translate all the books, manuals, movies, and other forms of media out there. Try and research American companies that have an eye on the Hispanic demographic or territories. It sucks that your college does not offer career advising/placement. Everyone knows graduating with a degree is only part of the reward for hard work. What’s a degree if you can’t find a good career start. I’m sure your a little angry but you can only go up from here. Good luck!
