The majority of students admitted to Harvard College have scores ranging from 600 to 800 on the SAT I and SAT II Subject Tests. They consider many other factors during the application process, not just test scores and grades.

You will do fine.

truthfully, it would not somewhat matter variety what your weighted gpa feels like. It comes all the way down to instructions and your grades in them. Do you’re taking all honors/AP/IB courses? Do you’re taking the extra rigorous schedule that your college has? Do you get all A’s in them? And what are your SAT rankings? remember, GPA, SAT rankings, and extracurriculars are all VERY variety of a million/3 of your ordinary assessment. i could say that with all A’s and intensely above user-friendly SAT rankings gets you right into a dazzling 20 college. For Ivies, the two you like alumni connections in any different case a extensive community provider undertaking to get you in. there are lots of those with large gpas who are not getting into their dream colleges. Brown, working example, takes 26% of all making use of valedictorians, and Brown is between the least aggressive Ivies to get into. desire that helps.

What country or state are you in?

I’m in Detroit, MI, USA, which relies on a four-point grade system. The highest grade point average here would be a 4.0. The highest marking (A) would be worth four points. B, C, D, and F are worth three, two, one, and zero points, repectively. Here, to get into a GOOD college*, one would have to attain a 3.5 average. To get into college at all, one would have to maintain a 2.0 average.

Assuming that the lowest grade average would be a 1.0, I would guess that the lowest you would have to get in order to have a shot at a GOOD college* would be a 4.5 grade point average.

*I assume that by good college, you were referring to one with an above average academic program and wide range of extracurricular courses.
