It is kinda early to get started.
What you can do now is just have fun and get A’s in your science and math classes, particularly biology, chemistry and physics. Try to get in your high school’s accelerated track and take Advanced Placement (AP) classes. Take the PSATs and SATs and do well on them.
You can also volunteer at a hospital and slowly gain experience being around a hospital environment.
