depends on the courses you are taking. I am a history and Political science major so I have to read a lot (50-100 pgs a week for each class).

If you are taking a lot of science classes I would say you will have a moderate reading load. No more than 50 pages a week for each class. Good luck with college!

Well since you are taking math and science courses, you wont have to read as much as someone taking Composition or any History course, but you still will have to read the book in order to stay on top of your studies. The reading for the science courses will probably be dull and not really that exciting, but if you are able to break up the reading over the week or whenever it is due, you should be fine 🙂

You’ll be doing 3-9 hrs of reading per day depending on the courses. For science courses, it is a guarantee that you’ll be doing 3-4 hrs of reading everyday per class.

It depends on your subject. If you do math, science or engineering, you’ll probably read about 50 pages a week, but they’ll be quite dense, and you’ll have to do a lot of homework problems. If you do English, you’ll have to read multiple novels per week.

i hate reading books myself. I seem to have placed myself within the circle of slackers at my university and we all still do well. Some classes will require actually reading, other classes you can b.s. your way through the term. You just have to know when it is necessary to be serious. We are not 3.9 students like people who study all the time, we are mostly in the range of 3.5 I consider that pretty damn good for almost never reading.
