How hard are education classes compared to classes in other majors?

I am in my second year of college and have already had two education classes. I found them to be easy, I was wondering if that is most likely to be the case for the rest of college.

If by education classes you mean Liberal Arts, then yes they are all pretty easy. The easiest ones are the teacher’s credential classes, my wife took them to become an elementary school teacher and the classes were so easy that she began to get frustrated and annoyed. They made her do menial work that was time consuming, yet took no intelligence to complete. The hardest thing about the credential program was passing all the required tests and surviving 4 months of student teaching without pay.

It depends on the school- applying the methodology when you start to work with students is the hardest part. For example, a course on content issues may seem easy, but you then have to decide how to apply that with actual people which is never easy.
