I am curious, though, why you believe yourself incapable of managing college altogether. Have you been tested for learning disabilities? If you discover you have one, a university is required to make special accomodations to help you get through your classwork. Perhaps you’d be best served by studying at a community college. An associates degree is better than none at all. You could transfer that aa to a four year school with a great music program, take only classes within your major, and then decide whether or not to finish your ba.

Not to be too momish here, but it’s an excellent idea to get education that allows you to work outside your chosen creative field. My best friend is a film maker with a miserable work history because he basically has no other skills. Plan ahead while you chase after your ambitions.
