they have a ton of majors to choose from. they also have a great business section. and on top of that, their avg. student/teacher ratio is like 18:1. thats really good. i would go for it. just send some applications in and see what happens. if your grades are good enough, it wont really matter what sex and race you are, or where you are from. it is a major university, so it wont be exactlly easy to get in, but definately doable. they have like 15,000 students, so it cant be too hard. lol

I’ve been to the business school for a conference, and one of my colleagues just came from there last year. While they aren’t at the very top, they are a very good school. They have very high (perhaps unreasonably high) standards for their faculty, and they are well-respected. While it is true that the University of Florida has a terrific reputation, not everyone wants a big state school; Miami is a very good private school, with a gorgeous campus (lots of palm trees and water) in an excellend neighborhood, and great facilities (I was impressed with the study center attached to the business school; something I really wish we had). According to the College Board, 40% of applicants are admitted, which isn’t too horribly selective.

I would go to the University of Florida if I were you. Trust me on that one.
