How far away is your college from your home?
I live in Arizona right now, but I was born and for majority of my life I lived in New Jersey. I love it there, but my family is here. I’m going to ASU right now and I was seriously thinking about transferring either to TCNJ, or even trying to get into my dream: Brown.
I was just wondering how far away have you gone and how it works, how you feel or felt about it, and if you regret it, etc.

According to mapquest, the three colleges I have attended were 172 mi, 1070 mi, and 2440 mi away from home. I see my parents once or twice a year, but talk to them several times a week. I think it works well – it’s good to get away from home, leave the parental influence, meet people from very different backgrounds, and travel!
