Do you mean the person who invents new medicines or the person who dispenses it? The first would be pharmacutical research – probably want an undergraduate degree in chemistry (and some biology), then 4-6 years in graduate school. The second is a pharmacist, and you can do that in 6 years at the right program – I know UConn has a 6 year program. Both are very demanding careers, at least as far as studying goes, so be prepared to work.
