help with choosing a major!?
I’m not exactly the title I want to be. I want to be a music agent, I think. I want to like have different bands, and i I have to go on tour with them and book, shows for them, and signings and everything. So what major would I need for this? And minors and everything? Help, i’m a sophomore in high school. I need to start looking for scholarships and everything. So please help!

You want a degree in Communications with a focus in Communication Management. Or Business Administration with a focus on management.

Go for Business Management. This is a small class called Discovering Your Career, which can be taken at college. This will set you on the right track to your career goals. This class is generally offered to college freshman so that they can plan on the right course of studies to get you where you want to be. Good Luck.

Being a agent is not simply declaring yourself one. What band in their right minds would come to you with no experience? What experience do you have in the recording industry? As an agent you generally work for a large agency, not by yourself. Do your research… just who handles big name bands?
