The airlines do their own training for flight attendants, usually in their hub cities. Contact the airline of your choice.

Median annual earnings of flight attendants were $43,440 in May 2004. The middle 50 percent earned between $31,310 and $67,590. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $23,450, and the highest 10 percent earned more than $95,850.

Job duties are learned through formal on-the-job training.

Competition for positions will remain strong because the opportunity for travel attracts more applicants than there are jobs, with only the most qualified being hired.

A high school diploma is the minimum educational requirement; however, applicants with a college degree and with experience in dealing with the public are likely to have the best employment opportunities.

WOW– I was JUST at the airport TODAY telling the guy at the desk I BELONG IN AN AIRPORT! They are HIRING TOO- and he took my resume– (I called ahead of time) I love anything to do with airlines, airports—flying, etc….I once ordered a book about becomeing a flight attendant from a woman who has been one for years—and it was great–I never pursued it though— but NOW I NEED TO DO WHAT MY DREAM IS– and SO SHOULD YOU!! Try the flight attendant thing- it’s more training than you’d think but worth it!

depending on where you are from there’s lots of places to look online- I want to be a ticketing agent since I have a child- otherwise I’d fly all over

..good luck –THIS is the WOMAN I bought the BOOK FROM–she is GREAT!! http://www.flightattendantcareer.com/
