Is it worth stududying medicine after graduating with a degree in engineering considering the money & time?

I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering a few years ago and now I’m considering medical school which would take a couple of more years. Some friends have suggested that I study medical physics or biomedical engineering but I am more interested in being a doctor than a supporting personnel.

Go for it. It is a noble occupation if you feel the calling for it. Never mind the naysayers. You have the option of practicing in the US or any other country, and believe me, there are millions of people who desperately need the attention of qualified, dedicated doctors.

oh it is very laborious why you have to study medical now cost is very high and moreover you will now earn more as a software engineer than as a doctor

biomedical and medicalphysics will help you aware of the subjects thats all

I would suggest biomedical aswell. Doctors would be nowhere without biomed engineers.

u gotta be nuts — with Hilliary being president and the medical field going into gvt health care ur not only goona be in debt to ur eyeballs — but ur not goona make any money to pay off the debt — get ur p.e. and go into business for urself–

at least that field has not or will not be taken over by the gvt in the near future — don’t forget to use protection and get ur gvt cheese
