To achieve your dreams of Harvard, you need to study as long as it takes “you”. Make sure you do all homework and classwork. Study for tests. You need to earn the best grades you possibly can. Remember that you need to take care of yourself as well. You need to exercise. Also to get into a place like Harvard you need to have community service and other type things on your resume. You need to participate in school groups like band, chorus, mathletes, sports or something. Colleges take what you do outside of school seriously. Make sure you stay out of trouble and don’t hang out with crowds who tend to get in trouble. HTH. Good luck. Its hard work but if you really want it you will achieve it 🙂

2 hours per class per ever 3 hours of class time. This is what we tell new students coming to college for each class which is about 3-4 hours long you need to study 2 hours.

You have to do what feels right to you. The importance is not in studying but learning and diversifying your interests…take time to do it all!
