The HND in ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN TECHNOLOGY will lead you to BSc (Hons) ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN TECHNOLOGY where Typically, the architectural technologist develops the architect’s design into a working solution that can be understood by the contractor, and therefore built on site, through the promotion of thorough background research and project work, the dynamic course is specifically designed to help you pursue a career as an Architectural Technologist not an Architect

communication, administrative, man-management, and costing skills. You will also gain technical knowledge, an awareness of statutory requirements, as well as the ability to work and liaise with contractors, sub-contractors and designers.

You examine the process of design, the factors that affect it and the various communication methods available in the presentation of design. You will develop your understanding of architectural practice by focusing on the importance of the spaces between buildings, as well as the historic development of architectural style; and you will progress to work on the design and management of a small-scale development

You will consider the restoration and refurbishment of old buildings, with regard to the clients’ brief and environmental issues; as well as undertaking your own in-depth and demanding refurbishment design project.

I hope this will shed light on you although it may differ from country to country.
