Having lots of anxiety about nursing school. I am a 23 year old girl. I am in my sophomore year?

of college, and I will be in a nursing program at a expensive private school this fall. I am scared I have 14,000 in loans. I feel a lot of pressure. I have to work part time. I hear about people failing out of nursing school a lot. I dont have a great backround in math. It’s official, I want it to work out, but I have a lack of confidence and family support.

Success requires mental strength. My nursing instructors thrived on the innocent and scared students.

Here is what you need to concentrate on.

1. Be extremely mentally and physically prepared. They will TRY to run you into the ground.

2. Be your own leader.

3. Make friends with as many students as you can. It really helped me.

4. Successful nursing students kiss their instructors a$$. They love it. Makes them forgive you more when you fail at something.

5. Speaking of failing (and you will), learn how to pick yourself up after doing so or you will defeat yourself.

6. Prepare yourself with the smells and sights. Desensitize yourself.

7. Learn how to function with 3-5 hours of sleep on most days.

8. Study like your life and other lives depend on it. Focus on those closest to you and how the information you retain could educate and help them.

9. Eat right. Especially b-fast. Don’t smoke.

10. Always smile, even when you are dead tired, and have a good time, pts. like that.

also, learn a few prayers just in case someone asks you to pray with them.

Better chance if he was a 23 year old university educated man dating a 28 year old university educated woman. At this point people cringe at that sort of relationship the same way you would if a high schooler wants to date a middle schooler. Your just not in the same place in life . . . .
