To be totally honest, one bar tending school is probably just as good as another. Usually it’s only a 1-2 week course. What probably sets one apart from another is their job placement.
Having known some people who own bars, the best way to be a bartender is to find a job and gain experience. In fact, it seems like that’s often preferred to going to a bar tending school.
But if you do plan on going to a school, focus more on where you’ll work afterwards. Try to get a job at a place where you’re going to see a wide variety of drinks ordered rather than a martini bar or some place that mainly serves beer or shots. Probably a busy restaurant like and Applebees would be a good bet.

bartending school is pointless, a waste of money and actually kind of a scam. you more then likely will not get a bartending job after you finish bartending school….you will be waiting tables or cocktailing. So save your money..get a job waiting tables or cocktailing..and work your way up!
