Yes, I quit half way through my junior year, sat out and partied till I couldn’t see straight anymore, went back at first just part time to get into the swing of things then full time. Graduated with my BA. Waited about 5 years and I am now working on my Masters/2nd BA. The first time I quit college I sat out for about 2-3yrs. Its hard at first to get back into the swing of things, especially homework, not so much on the deadlines of papers but the actual research involved in them. Both times that I have gone back to school have been to the same school. I like the class setting, the campus. IF you didn’t like it the first time (school) you might want to go up and spend a day on campus to see if its where you want to go, if not try another one. The hardest thing about going back to college is trying to manage your time between work, classes, study time and if you have children time with them.

I will say you can do it and in the long run it will be well worth it. Plus trying going part time at first to see if its what you truly want and if it is try a semester at fulltime, if you find that you are having trouble, cut back down to part time.

I went when i was 19 then 22 then just recently 26. I always drop out before i finish the class i signed up for. I just can’t do it with my full time grave job. Its not the class thats the hard part its the hours of home work that kills me. If i could just do everything in class i would pass.

I’m just going to settle for a dead end job screw it. If i can’t get passed one class i sure as heck aint going to get a degree, i work to much.
