Do you have the opportunity for a face-to-face interview with the Admissions Office? If you do, take it! Chapman, like other small schools, wants a variety of students — not just straight As.

If you have had a job during high school, or you have been active in sports or student activities (music, drama, student government, etc.) the school will take that into consideration.

Take care when you complete your application — be sure it’s neatly done; proofread it (!!); have someone else look it over. Chapman will get a lot of applications and things that appear sloppy or hastily completed will go on the “Do Not Accept” list much faster.
