Don’t like my job/taking a lot of litterature classes. Should I quit?

I started a job at school a month ago. It is a minimum wage job that involves a lot of walking and setting up equipment and tables. Now school has started and I signed up for 20 credits (quarter) of classes. I’m reading six books at the same time. I work 14 hours per week and go to class for 18 hours. My boss is nice. Should I stay until the end of the term? If I leave how should I do it? Should I say I got a tutoring job?

I am fine financially with a lot of savings. I’d feel bad/awkward about quitting after only a short time. The other students at work would probably think I’m a jerk for quitting because they are looking for people. I think I need a job that would look good on a resume rather than more student jobs. But I know I’m lucky to have a job. I haven’t complained or said how I want to quit. What would you do?

Actually the basic very thing is, before we commit or decide on anything that we do, we should think it very well 100x if possible, analize our motives ask yourself why and what is our reason on doing it, because it involves not only you but the one your dealing with and its your personality that you put at stake incase you made a wrong move. Now you are in this situation you should honestly open this to the school administration and discuss about it and ask their personal advice on what to do best and what you feel about it i believe they will understand you as long as you discuss it with respect atleast in this manner your not ruining your reputation and not closing the door that you might need to enter again next time in the future..

Your answered your own question quite nicely. I think you have emotionally quit the job—be honest. Why did you get a job in the 1st place? If you do not need the money then enjoy college and friends! It lasts for such a short time. Life is all about choices…choose wisely and good luck!
